Our 2023 Maine Wild Blueberry Season has come to an end! Our growing season was met with many weather-related challenges. A late frost put our crop at risk, with many New England farmers losing part, if not all, of their crop. We were not very optimistic as we headed into July. We were blessed with cooler temperatures as we worked two fields over eight days. To our surprise, our family was able to hand-rake and pick our largest yield ever! Our bodies are tired, but our hearts are full as we close another season here on the farm! We are grateful to the local businesses and friends who supported us!
We look forward to what the 2024 season will bring us in the Pasture Field.
