Homemade Gift - Bread Baker's Bowl

My favorite gifts, whether they are given or received, are homemade! As the holiday season approaches, many of us are looking for new, meaningful ways to show how much we care. Our family enjoys carrying on our traditions but also creating new heartfelt ones! This basket is perfect for housewarmings, showers, holidays, teacher gifts, or the baker in your life!

I put together one of my favorite homemade bread basket gift ideas: The Bread Baker's Bowl, and you can also give these items individually!

These gifts remind me to slow down and embrace the season's joy! Creating handmade gifts can start new traditions that will last long beyond the holidays! I hope your family and friends enjoy them as much as ours do!

How to Make a Homemade Bread Baker's Gift Basket

In the basket, we include our Honey Oatmeal Bread or Crusty Rustic Bread, and Grammie’s Raspberry Jam recipes! Hand-rolled beeswax candles are always perfect for anyone.

What You'll Need

Homemade Bread & Jam Recipes

Honey Oatmeal Bread

I have been making this recipe since 2015, and everyone loves it! The perfect bread for sandwiches, warm with soup, toasted with butter...delicious!

Crusty Rustic Bread

Warning: this bread is perfection, and once you share it, everyone will keep asking for more! It makes the best grilled cheese sandwiches, is a hit on a charcuterie board, and is great toasted for breakfast!

Grammie's Raspberry Jam

This jam is perfectly balanced, incredibly easy to make, and always a favorite in our house!

How to Assemble the Gift Basket

1. Begin by lining your mixing bowl or basket with one tea towel.

2. Wrap your cooled loaf of bread and loaf pan in parchment paper, and tie it with twine. Then, set the bread into your basket.

3. If adding a cutting board, tuck it behind the loaf of bread.

4. Add in your dough hook and bench scraper to the right of the loaf.

5. Drape your second tea towel over the edge of the bowl or basket.

6. Place your jars of honey and jam in front of the hook and scraper. Use the tea towel to cradle the jam jar.
